Cocoa
Have you ever wanted to make your own Cocoa? I use to love Christmas time when Mom would make her homemade cocoa. it was so great getting up early and having a cup with tons of marshmallows. this is also a great gift idea. you can put in the snack size baggies and place in a coffee cup. wrap in tissue paper or place in a gift bag. if you give as a gift you can not forget to give with at least one candy cane. that is just a great gift to give and to receive. I love to get the gifts that are hand made. it makes you feel good to know that someone cared enough about you to make you something from the heart. sometimes we forget Christmas is about more than how much we spend.
for the cocoa you need the following:
Cocoa Powder
Powder Milk
Coffee Creamer (the powdered kind, what ever flavor you like)
Powder Sugar
to mix get a bowl of container, add 1 cup powder milk, 1 cup powder sugar, 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder and 1/2 cup of flavored coffee creamer. I like to use the hazelnut.
you can adjust any of the ingredients to make it taste the way you want it to. mix and enjoy.
You can not forget to serve with marshmallows. if you make the hazelnut you have to serve with biscotti. so drink your cocoa and sit by the fire and remember back to when you were a kid. life is so short, enjoy every minute!
